July 2012, Canvas Church hosted a county-wide Block Party. With incredible community sponsors like Fortune Builders and Atomic Bazaar we were able to come together and enjoy San Diego’s great weather while raising awareness and funds for Canvas Church’s backpack drive. Through the efforts and generosity of many people Canvas was able to facilitate giving away hundreds and hundreds of backpacks to children in need! In total we were able to bless nine local San Diego campuses as well as one orphanage in San Felipe, Mexico.
